More instances, an epic and a respec

This weekend we got in the mood to do some instances. I wanted to do Maraudon and ZF and everyone else pretty much agreed so after me, King, Ian and Row harassed Chris (cause we didn't want to pick up random 5th) to help we were on our way. Side note. Ian flagged in Gadgetzan and was taunting someone cause he wanted to see the guards go crazy. The person attacked, the guards went crazy, but he said they lived. I was out lvling my unarmed at that point (Fist weapons run the city) and I was returning to the city so we would go to ZF. So Ian's telling me about what he's doin on vent and I walk up the Gadgetzan about ten seconds later and there's this half life druid in travel form flagged. Sorry guy but you don't kick it outside the city flagged with half life. So I charged, hamstring, hit mortal strike hit dead. He tried to run but yeah. Then all of a sudden this lvl 60 hunter starts attacking me. So I intercept, intimidating shout to get his pet off me and start goin off on him. I don't think he expected me to do anything but run, or whatever but this guy was pretty shitty. He hamstringed me, so there's that, but he didn't lay down a freezing trap prior to attacking me nor did he hit me with scatter shot which I couldn't really believe either. Anyways this was the result.

I now realize I should've done retaliation when I got near him. That would've been bomb =D So we get to ZF after waiting about three years for King and we do the Witch Doctor who summons the zombies, the guy who summons the basilisks, the two leader guys, the stairs, Seargant Bly and Gahz'rilla. We beat the entire place, basically. Here we are chillin.

So after we finish ZF Chris asks if we want him to come with us anywhere else. I suggest Maraudon. Everyone is down, to my surprise, and we all hearth or fly to Orgrimmar to head out to Desolace. We did purple first.

As pirates and ninjas =] I'd like to point out both King and Ian rolled 1's on that green. That's the first time I've ever seen that. Actually later Chris rolled a 1 and I think Ian rolled another 1 as well. Pretty funny. So we clear purple easy, go into Orange through the back way and kill Celebras before I remember Noxxion drops the rod we need for the Staff of Celebras so we try to get back up to Orange (and Row tries to get us killed) but we figure we can just do it later so we head down to Inner and mash! I'm actually constantly impressed by how well we work together as a group. People actually listen and do what you say. It's nice. And they're not stupid to get all crazy heroic for no reason (except Row, maybe). So the only time we wipe all night is against

...of course. I didn't think we were going to wipe at all, and we probably shouldn't have, but we did somehow. We rested up and had Chris switch to sword and shield that second time and it was candy. I don't think it was that I couldn't tank her, per se, cause I've done it before. I wish I could remember what happened so I could explain more clearly but oh well. So anyways. After we get done running instances I fly out to Felwood and about 15 minutes later I get 52, which means I get to use

<3 Picture of the proc

So because of my new sword (which Ben gave to me because he's the master of finding buff stuff and hooking it up) I had a tough decision to make. Destiny is a good sword and I like it. But, for an MS warrior slower is better because you need that base damage as high as possible. 2.6 is super fast for a 2h. That's faster then my 1h I use to tank =o I realized, while grinding the next day that Destiny is more of a Fury 2h sword then an MS one. So there was my problem. Do you respec simply for a weapon, even if it is an epic? The answer was yes, of course. I don't know if this is cause I'm a scared ass bitch or something but whenever I respec any character I almost always feel like I fucked my guy up cause I've been playing them for so long a certain way and having to get used to new stuff and a new style is going to be weird. Plus I always think the build I had was the best cause why else would I have it? Anyways, I've been Fury/Arms for a day and I like it a lot. I can't say how effective it will be in pvp (haven't tried it yet) but it's pretty bomb in pve. MS > Bloodthirst, fo sho, especially since Fury warriors should be gearing for agi so their attack power isn't going to be as high as an Arms warrior. However you're still able to get some pretty ridiculous dps when your talents proc. Enrage+Flurry+Berserking+Death Wish = ggpo. Screenshots to illustrate what I mean.

That's my dps with nothing enhancing my abilities. No battle shout even. Now here's my dps when my talents proc, which is pretty often. Death Wish is once every three minutes so that's to be taken into account. This is basically the all out of my spec.

Yeah, that's what I said. 5.5 times my regular dps. That's pretty ridiculous. I also see why Fury benefits from Dual Wielding more then 2h but I can get my attack speed to 1.6 with Destiny so I'm not even trippin about DW right now. One thing that's tight about Fury is that Death Wish only increases physical damage taken by 20% so I can use it against casters without having to worry to much about it. Once I start getting resistance gear though it won't be as good. I think that I will eventually end up an MS warrior (depending on how DWin Dawn's Edge ends up working out) but right now I am loving Fury. They need to buff up Bloodthirst though. I mean when procs hit I can get it to do damage near MS but it's kind of hit and miss that way. MS just hurts period. Anyways I'm gonna try to get some dueling in today to test my spec that way. Woosh
